Dates: from 18th to 27 of June.
InOutYoga is going to take you to the American continent!
We are going to the Peruvian Amazon, the lungs of our planet, to experience local culture and traditions, fauna and flora, local gastronomy!
You will have the chance to see wonderful wild animals like anaconda snakes, tarantulas, caimans, rosed dolphins and manatees while getting into the thickest forest of the world. You will be reaching secluded beaches that are visible only for a few months during the year like in Quistococha, navigating the Nanay river and visiting the beautiful Monkeys Island. You will have the chance to discover the Amazon forest by boat and to visit a local indigenous community, getting to know the secrets of the traditional indigenous medicine, its culture, food and music.
Joining InOutYoga travels means being part of a community of sustainable travellers: InOutYoga travelling philosophy is about not harming, it’s about focusing on protecting places and people that are connected to the destination. It’s about reducing footprint and increasing handprint – giving back. That’s how we love travelling: love for the environment, love for local culture and economy, contributing for a better world.
Travelling with InOutYoga also means integrating the Yoga practice in our daily schedule: you will have the chance to practice Yoga everyday, starting from the very first day at the airport. Yoga session will be realized every morning in the nature and at the end of the day before going to sleep. Yoga will be our harmful and silent way to connect with the stunning nature in the Amazon and to give it some good energy back.
We will be staying in different accomodations lodge or bungalows style, or hotel with double or triple rooms. In Iquitos we will be staying in ecological houses in the middle of the nature, surrounded by monkeys and by the lush flora of the Amazon.
Food will be vegetarian (with options sometimes possible), based as much as possible on local products and always preferring local and traditional dishes.
